After a musical theatre students’ exam concert, the young director Ilona attends the evaluation committee meeting. Having worked closely with the students, she now finds herself seated among five elegant members of the panel. At first, Ilona is flattered by the unexpected attention she receives from the committee, but she soon realizes she has stepped into a meeting no one would wish to be part of.
The committee seems more concerned with handing out high grades to preserve their reputation and conclude the session quickly than with engaging in a genuine discussion about the quality of the students’ work. Instead, careless remarks are made about the students’ bodies, age, and height.
Until the very last moment, Ilona hesitates — whether to confront the blatant brutality of the “untouchables,” or to adapt, seize the opportunity to climb the career ladder, and secure her place within the inner circle.
